Effective July 14, 20261. Who we are

2. What we collect
We collect little, by design.
- Account data. Your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, the profile identifier Google provides. If you register with a password, we store only a one-way hash of it, never the password itself.
- Billing data. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number, Apple Pay, or Google Pay details go directly to Stripe; we never receive or store card numbers. We keep the records Stripe returns to us: plan, amount, currency, payment status, and Stripe's identifiers for the customer, subscription, and transaction.
- Operational data. A session cookie so you can stay signed in, your IP address for login throttling and abuse prevention, and ordinary server logs.
- What we do not collect. The engine itself runs on your hardware. The operational data your engine produces, the pages it browses, the content it drafts and publishes, the leads it gathers, its CRM records, stays on your machines and in your database. We do not receive it.
3. How we use it
- To provide the Service: your account, your dashboard, your engine access link.
- To process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe.
- For security: authenticating sign-ins, throttling failed login attempts, investigating abuse.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the above.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service you purchased); legitimate interests (securing the site and preventing abuse); and legal obligation (retaining billing records for tax and accounting). We do not rely on consent for anything essential, and we do not process special categories of data.
5. Sharing
We share personal data only with processors that are necessary to run the Service:
- Stripe, for payment processing.
- Google, for sign-in when you choose it.
- Our hosting provider, for the infrastructure the website runs on.
Each acts under its own contractual obligations as a processor or independent service provider. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not disclose who holds a seat except as required by law.
6. Cookies
The site sets a single session cookie, vesid, which keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary for the Service to function. We set no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.
7. Retention
- Account data is kept while your account is active, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep the associated billing records.
- Login attempt records used for throttling are pruned routinely and are not kept longer than needed for security.
- Server logs are rotated on an ordinary schedule.
8. Your rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or a portable copy. Email contact@vanityengine.pro and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have these rights under the GDPR, along with the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define the terms, so there is nothing to opt out of.
9. Security
All traffic to the site is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt via PHP's password_hash and are never stored or logged in plain text. Access and reset tokens are stored hashed, so a copy of our database does not yield working credentials. Access to production systems is restricted to the small number of people who operate them.
10. Children
The Service is a business instrument and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may revise this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the dashboard. The current version is always available at this address.
